Everything you need to get started and get answers

Getting Started

Starting a company, or joining one as a manager? Follow the first guide. Given a site code by your manager? Follow the second.

For Managers

1 Create your account — Sign up with your email address and a password
2 Start your company, or join one — On the Home tab, tap "Set up my company". If your company already uses Kronly, tap "I have a code" instead and enter the organization code one of its managers gave you, then wait for one of them to approve your request
3 Create your first site — Add a site with name, address, and location
4 Set the geofence — Define the GPS boundary radius (50m–500m) and enforcement mode
5 Invite your team — Share the site's QR code or 6-character invite code with your team
6 Approve & monitor — Approve join requests, review timesheets, and manage from your dashboard

For Team Members

1 Create your account — Sign up with your email address and a password
2 Get the invite code — Ask your manager for the site's QR code or 6-character invite code
3 Join the team — On the Home tab, tap "I have a code", then enter the code or scan the QR code. The app shows which site you are joining; tap "Request to join"
4 Wait for approval — Your manager will approve your join request
5 Start working — Clock in, view tasks, request materials, and upload photos

Frequently Asked Questions

Account & Setup

Download Kronly from the App Store or Google Play and tap "Sign Up". Create your account with your email address and a password. Then, on the Home tab, tap "Set up my company", or "I have a code" if you were given one.

Managers manage sites, invite team members and other managers, set geofences, approve timesheets and material requests, assign tasks, and view dashboards and reports. You become a manager by starting a company in the app, or by joining one with an organization code.

Workers (team members) clock in/out, request materials, complete tasks, upload photos, and view their own time entries and history. You become a team member by joining with a site code from your manager.

Your role comes from how you join: starting a company or joining with an organization code makes you a manager, and joining with a site code makes you a team member. If you need a different role, please contact support at support@kronly.eu and we can assist you.

Yes. You can be signed in on up to 3 devices at the same time. If you sign in on a fourth device, the one you used longest ago is signed out automatically. You can see your active devices — and sign out any of them — in Settings, under Security > Active Devices (viewing the list requires an internet connection).

Go to Settings in the app, then tap on your profile. You'll find the "Delete Account" option. This will permanently remove all your personal data within 30 days. You can also email privacy@kronly.eu to request account deletion.

Time Tracking

Open the app and tap the large "Clock In" button — it takes just 2 taps. Your phone checks on-device that you are within the site area; only the on-site/off-site result is shared, never your GPS location. When you're done working, tap "Clock Out" the same way. Your manager sees your time entries in real time.

It depends on how your manager configured the geofence. In strict mode, you won't be able to clock in if you're outside the boundary. In warning mode, you can clock in but your manager will see that you were outside the geofence radius.

Yes. Go to the Time Tracking section in the app. You can see your daily, weekly, and monthly time entries including clock-in/out times, total hours, and approval status. If an entry was rejected, open it to see the reason your manager gave.

If you forget to clock out, your time entry will remain open. You can clock out later from the app. Your manager can also see open time entries and adjust them if needed. We recommend enabling push notifications to receive clock-out reminders.

Yes. As a manager, open Reports and tap Export — alongside the standard timesheet export you can choose a Salary CSV designed for payroll. It lists each team member's daily hours with night, weekend, and public-holiday hours broken out, plus the approval status, for the date range you select. You can send it directly to your accountant.

Team Management

As a manager, go to Team Management and tap "Invite Workers". You can share a QR code (show it on your screen or save it), share a 6-character invite code, or send a share link via any messaging app. Team members enter the code or scan the QR to request to join.

Team members can join by scanning the manager's QR code or entering the 6-character invite code in the app. After submitting a join request, the manager receives a notification and can approve or decline. Once approved, they can start using all features.

Yes. From the Team tab you can invite another manager with a dedicated manager invite — a QR code or code that is separate from the team-member invite. The number of manager seats depends on your plan: Crew includes 1 manager, Multi-Site up to 3, and Company up to 10.

Ask a manager of that organization for its organization code — it is a different code from the site code team members use. After you sign up, tap "I have a code" on the Home tab, then enter the code or scan the QR code. The app shows that you will join as a co-manager; tap "Request to join" and wait for one of the organization's managers to approve your request. Once approved, you get access to the organization's sites and team.

Only the organization's owner — the manager who created it — can remove another manager, from that manager's detail screen in the Team tab. The owner cannot be removed. Any other manager can also leave the organization on their own from Settings. Sites and records created by a manager who leaves stay with the organization.

Yes. Go to Team Management, find their profile, and tap "Remove from Organization". Their historical data (time entries, material requests) will be preserved for your records, but they will lose access to the organization.

Materials & Photos

Team members create a material request by specifying the item name, quantity, urgency level (Normal, High, or Critical), and optionally attaching photos. The manager receives a notification and can approve or reject the request with a reason. You can track the status of all your requests in the Materials section.

There are three urgency levels: Normal for routine supplies, High for items needed soon, and Critical for items that are blocking work. Managers see the urgency level clearly marked on each request to help prioritize approvals.

Go to the Photos section and tap the camera button. Photos are timestamped; location metadata is stripped from every photo before upload. They are uploaded to secure storage and visible to your organization manager. If you're offline, photos are saved locally and uploaded automatically when you reconnect.

Offline & Sync

Yes. Kronly is built to keep working without internet. You can clock in/out, create material requests, and take photos with no connection — everything is saved on your device and syncs automatically when you're back online. Updating a task's status is the one action that needs a connection; if you're offline, the app asks you to try again later.

All your data is stored safely on your device. When an internet connection is available, the app automatically syncs pending data with the server. You'll see a sync indicator showing the status, and the Sync Status screen shows how many items are waiting and lets you retry anything that failed. Synced data is then visible to your manager in real time.

Nothing is ever lost. All data is persisted in local storage on your device. Even if you close the app or restart your phone, pending data remains saved. Once internet is restored, everything syncs automatically. No manual action is needed.
